Congratulations to Emery Secondary School Students!

One Emery team won first place in the BUILD Entrepreneurship business plan competition at Haas Business School at UC Berkeley for their written business plan: Darnell Hadden, Michael Connoly-Ward, Zena Evans, and Candice Bowden each won $100 to manufacture customized bumper stickers. Another Emery team won second place for their oral presentations of their plan: Brittany Wren-Metz, Bismillah Carter-Diouf, Keneisha Jackson, and Mariam Biaye won cash prizes to manufacture inexpensive customized jewelry.
