Substitute Teacher Information

Thank you for your interest in substituting in Emery Unified School District!
You may apply in person at 4727 San Pablo Avenue or by mail. Please provide the following information when applying:

1. Completed Emery Unified School District Certificated Application
2. Proof of graduation from a 4-year college.
3. Original credentials/certificates, emergency credential/permit or proof of credential application.
4. CBEST card.
5. Resume and 2 letters of introduction/recommendation.
6. T. B. test verification - negative results within the past 12 months.

Substitute Teachers are paid $150.00 per day. Long-term Substitutes earn $175.00 per day. You must work twenty (20) consecutive teaching days in order to receive long-term pay.
